Ultimate Frisbee Marketing Campaign

How can people be attracted to Ultimate Frisbee through a marketing process shown in the poster?

Global Context:

I choose the global context Identities and Relationships

Identities and Relationships can be built around Frisbee since it is such an inclusive community and this is why, through marketing and campaigning, I could help people understand more about the sport and how it has personally benefited my life. By the end I will have hopefully encouraged people to at least go try it out, and see what they think of it.

Criteria For Success

Quantitative:

My product should have minimum 3 appealing elements added to it 

My product should have minimum 3 Frisbee related images incorporated into it. 

My product should have a way for people to connect with my Frisbee club if they are interested in signing up or want to know more information about it

Qualitative:

My product should be professional looking and be created and published on the site "Canva"

The creation time of this product should not exceed 10 hours 

I should have a minimum of 3 people give me a rating of 6/10 on my product before I finalize and publish it

Motivation and Personal Interest

I have been playing Frisbee for 5 years running and I have enjoyed every minuet of it. This sport has forever had the problem of not having enough participants interested for it to thrive among some of the biggest sports, or even a chance at the Olympics. I created this campaign to help my sport grow because I wanted to share the compassion that I have with Frisbee to the Amsterdam community. The core element that motivates me most is that I know I am part of a bigger movement, that there are people all around the world trying to grow this sport we love. I really want people to understand my drive to playing Ultimate, and through my poster I can hopefully motivate people to join my club and feel the same adrenaline as I do when I play. 

My Final Products

This is my main product, a marketing poster, created so that the audience can be intrigued by the simplisticness and colorfulness of it. I made this to ensure that the viewers could be drawn to it, but then also be interested in the content. 

A marketing campaign also consists of a presentation, within this you have all your ideas and process that you went through whilst making your marketing product. Here is 2 slides of the presentation showing a brain storm of some product ideas I had through this process.

Process

This has been a very long and complicated process for me, I came across a lot of unforeseen cross roads which stopped my from completing this project quicker, for example: 2 weeks before the final deadline of the Personal Project products, I had a conversation with a good friend of mine in the marketing business, and she told me that  part of creating a marketing campaign, is to have a map of the whole process, and especially where I am going to place my product! This process really taught me a lot about the area of marketing, it has been a very inspiring journey for me to have gone through, and I hope this motivates other people to voice what they love, and share it to others!
